APCNA at Pakistan Medical Association:

PMAJavedLectureRecognizing the continued efforts of Pakistan Medical Association for promoting CME activities at the PMA house Karachi, APCNA had a CME session on December 19th, 2007. Dr. Javed Suleman delivered a lecture on Acute Coronary Syndrome.  This lecture was followed by a panel discussion comprising of Interventional Cardiology perspective by Dr. Javed Suleman, Non-invasive perspective by Dr. Rizwan Karatela and Cardiothoracic Surgical perspective by Dr. Hasnat Shareef from AGA Khan University on the topic. _ ey discussed each case with the house-staff with teaching points.  This case presentation session was part of continuing medical education lectures APCNA has been arranging over the past four years.

Recognizing the continued eff orts of Pakistan Medical Association for promoting CME activities at the PMA house Karachi, APCNA leadership met with PMA offi ce bearer and discussed future programs and projects Dr. Javed Suleman and Dr. Rizwan Karatela met with Dr. Soomro and Dr. Samrina Hashmi and discussed specifi cally future collaborative projects and teaching lecture in PMA. In coming months we will be arranging cardiology lectures, workshop at the PMA house regularly. The mission is to strengthen institution which are working towards better standards of medical education and healthcare delivery in Pakistan.
